How the Atlas is put together

The directory combines reference metadata with Atlas editorial viewing notes. English introductions aim to explain the premise, suggest a starting point and give cultural context without spoiling the story.

Original Chinese titles and Pinyin help you find the same work across sources. Pinyin is a reading and search aid; it does not establish an official English title.

Sources and checks

Reference catalog data includes contributions from Bangumi. Title pages retain source credits and original Chinese synopses when available. Sourced Atlas English introductions list the references used and their review date.

Release information comes from official publisher calendars and listings, including Bilibili, Tencent Video, iQIYI and Youku, alongside reference schedules and manual editorial updates. A missing time stays TBA. Original releases and overseas subtitle releases can follow different schedules.

Provider links lead to official listings. Language and country labels are only used when a source supports them, with a check date. Listings can change; follow the provider’s current information before choosing a service.

Ratings and recommendations

Atlas member scores come from ratings submitted on this site. Imported reference scores are labeled separately. Editorial recommendations describe a viewing experience and starting point; they are not a promise that every viewer will like the same work.

Selected watching orders are introductory routes. They can omit extras and use different season groupings from a distributor’s combined listing.

Corrections and discussion

Spotted the wrong season, a broken link or a schedule change? Open a community topic with the title, the correction and a source link. Editors can review and update the record. Use the report action on a comment or topic when it needs moderation.
