Privacy & getting in touch
What Donghua Atlas stores, what is public, and how to ask for a correction. Updated November 4, 2026.
Your account and public profile
Email sign-in uses a one-time code delivered through Resend. We store your account email and a verified account identifier, plus expiring sign-in challenges and sessions. We do not ask you to create a password. Session cookies keep you signed in.
Your display name, avatar, bio, comments, replies and submitted title scores may be visible to other readers. Your account email is not part of your public profile. Your watchlist stays private; a 3×3 favorites page is public only if you choose to publish it.
Editors can review reports and private feedback. Avoid including passwords, verification codes or other people’s private information in a message.
Preferences and aggregate counts
Your browser remembers preferences such as theme, timezone and selected region. We also count title-page views, official-platform clicks, completed catalog searches, zero-result searches and favorites-image exports to understand which features need work.
These counts contain a date, event type, title ID or platform name where relevant. We do not attach an account ID, IP address, raw search phrase or persistent visitor identifier to these counters. No third-party analytics script is used. Repeat visits and clicks can count again; clicks do not prove successful playback. Counters are retained for up to 90 days and removed during subsequent recording.
We also honor your browser’s Do Not Track signal. This choice does not affect account records or essential server security logs.
Services, storage and external links
The website runs on the operator’s VPS. Account data, content, uploaded avatars and editorial records are stored there and may be included in backups. Operational logs can contain network and request information needed to keep the site working. Backups can retain earlier records after a live record changes.
Some artwork loads from the credited catalog or publisher’s image host. Opening an official viewing link takes you to that provider, which has its own privacy and access rules. Read our editorial and source policy.
Private feedback & account requests
Atlas Editorial is the site’s editorial byline. Use this private inbox for corrections, broken links, privacy or account-data requests, and rights concerns. Only editors can read it. Include the page URL and a reliable source when reporting a catalog error. Editors can use your account email to follow up; a response is not guaranteed immediately.
